CLK Architects and Associates was contracted to design the new Cigarroa Interventional Institute in Laredo, TX. This state of the art cardiac catheterization center is a licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and is approximately 9,000 square feet. The Cigarroa Interventional Institute which is built-out in an existing second floor shell space has a fresh and efficient floor plan which includes pre op and post op areas and two catheterization labs. In addition, the client asked for extended care rooms for its patients which were carefully designed to be comfortable and private for those patients that require an extended recovery time. The design for the suite was patient-focused so that the staff can deliver quality care in a quality space.
